Policies and Regulations for Pet Accommodation

At Hotel Plaza Huatulco Bungalow, we understand the importance of your pets in your daily family life. To ensure the well-being and harmony of our guests and staff, it is necessary to follow the regulations outlined below during your stay. We have a fee of $400 MXN per stay, which must be paid directly at the reception upon check-in.

1. The hotel will only accept domestic animals as pets (dogs and cats).
2. The use of a muzzle is mandatory for potentially dangerous breeds.
3. A maximum of one pet under 12 kg is allowed per room. Please check with reception for the possibility of additional pets.
4. The pet must be accompanied by its owner or a responsible adult at all times, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. If a pet is found left unattended on the premises, the door will be opened, and the pet will be released without any responsibility for the hotel. The leash must always be properly secured to the pet’s collar when in common areas of the hotel.
5. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in both public areas of the hotel and their room. Failure to do so will result in a $200 MXN fine per incident. Please note that security cameras are installed throughout the garden and pool areas.
6. Pets are not allowed in restricted areas of the hotel, such as public restrooms and the pool.
7. The use of towels, sheets, beds, sofas, chairs, or cushions from the room for pets is strictly prohibited. We recommend protecting our furniture with something of your own.
8. Pets are not allowed to sleep on the room furniture.
9. It is not allowed to feed your pet using the dishes and glassware intended for guests.
10. It is prohibited to leave the pet alone in the room and/or in the car (please notify reception in case of extreme emergencies). We offer a pet daycare service subject to availability, with an additional fee.
11. Room cleaning will only proceed once all guests, including the pet, have vacated the room. If cleaning is needed while you are still using the hotel facilities, please inform reception to make arrangements.
12. Any damage caused by the pet is the owner's responsibility, and a damage deposit of $2,000 MXN per pet must be provided as a guarantee.
13. The space and tranquility of other guests must be respected. Any dog that barks for more than 15 minutes in any area of the property, regardless of the time, will result in the termination of the guests' stay, with no refund for any remaining prepaid dates.
14. The hygiene of the pet is the responsibility of the person in charge.
15. The hotel is not responsible for any illness, loss, theft, death, or other incidents involving the pet.
16. In case of a complaint from guests or other individuals associated with the hotel, or for failure to comply with these regulations, the hotel management may request that the pet be removed within 1 hour of receiving the notification. The hotel may also suspend services to the pet owners immediately.

Hotel Plaza Huatulco Bungalow reserves the right to admit pets and their owners, as well as the right to modify this policy at any time.
